Drama # - Bride Of The Water God

The trailer teaser for this drama is quite promising,
That's why I decided to watch it, thinking that it would be another version of ''Goblin'',
You know... to cure my empty heart ever since. HAHAHA.

But seriously, this drama is really not that entertaining.

''Bride Of The Water God'' with a total of 16 episodes.
It was released in July 2017 and aired on TVN.
Starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung.

I put quite a high expectation on this drama in the beginning,
But after the first two episodes,
I found that this drama is sorta plain to be frank.
It doesn't have the roller coaster suspense and plot
Unlike those previous famous fantasy dramas that I have watched before.

Moreover, I felt that the chemistry between the main actor and actress is kinda stiff as well.
Even from all the written comments,
People are saying Nam Joo Hyuk's acting in this drama is not as good as the one in ''Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo''
I guessed it's because he was starring with his real girlfriend in the previous drama.
That's why the impact is kinda obvious.

I haven't watch that drama though,
It would be next on my list.
Anyway, I will only be giving this drama a 2.5/5 stars rating overall.
Because I fell in love with the sub character Moo Ra instead.
The character was played by Krystal Jung,
Which I have to say she really portray her Goddess character very well.
Her acting skills improved a lot from the last time I saw her in ''My Lovely Girl''.
And owh, have to support her because someone once told me before my face look a little similar to Krystal. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

There are two OSTs that I really love inside this drama :

>> Savina & Drones - Glass Bridge
>> Lucia - Without You

I have a thing for very sad romance songs,
Full of that unexplainable emotions and feelings,
Felt like it touches and expressing that particular lonely spot deep inside my heart every single time.

When the narcissistic water god Ha-baek (Nam Joo-hyuk) visits earth in order to find a stone powerful enough to help him claim his throne, he seeks out the help of his servant and destined bride, psychiatrist So-ah (Shin Se-kyung), whose family is fated to serve the water god for generations. The problem is that she has no belief in the gods and initially mistakes him for suffering from delusions. Things get even stranger when the wind god Bi-ryeom (Gong Myung), the water goddess Mu-ra (Krystal), and the semi-god Hu-ye (Lim Ju-hwan) show up to complicate things.[5][6]

Drama # - Fight For My Way

This drama plainly caught my attention from the random video being posted on Facebook,
When I saw Kim Ji Won doing the super adorable aegyo thing,
I know I gotta watch this.
HAHAHAHA!!

''Fight For My Way'' with a total of 16 episodes.
It was released in May 2017 and aired on KBS2.
Starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won.

It was rather a fun and bubbly drama, who talks mainly about romance around best friends.
It also showed and reflected all the hardships one can faced in real life,
And also to chase for your dream when you had all the chance of doing it.
There were parts that it stroke me hard at the heart, I cried watching it,
Because it was so right on point.

It was my first time watching Park Seo Joon's acting,
I didn't find him attractive at first,
But the more I watch him, the more he looked super adorable!!!!
The part where he stands up for his best friends,
The part where he bared his awesomely fit upper body,
The part where he is such a cute baby doing aegyo,
The part where he stands up as a man and make everyone proud.....
GAHHHHHHH, too much for me to handle.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Anyway, I give this drama a 4.5/5 rate,
As I feel that the ending was a bit lacking and weak.
The 1st until the 15th episode is good,
But the ending was too plain for the final wrap up.
I do enjoyed the non-complicated storyline though,
Since I don't enjoyed too much unnecessary scenes.

Another thing that made me burst laughing rolling on my bed,
Were the songs selection they decided to use in some particular scenes,
One of the most classic one is :

Bee Gees - Holiday

I really love how their annoying childhood friendship turns into a sweet and cute romance towards the end.
Ko Dong Man, you are such a cutey pie!
I wanna felt how was it like to bury my face in that big warm chest you had, HAHAHA!

= Drama Trailer =

= Drama Plot taken from Wikipedia =

Follow the story about young adults with third-rate specs just struggling to survive, and the blossoming romance between two immature friends Ko Dong-man (Park Seo-joon) and Choi Ae-ra (Kim Ji-won) whose childish dynamic hasn't changed despite reaching adulthood.[5]

Drama # - My Secret Romance

The main reason I choose to start watching this drama,
Is mainly because everyone is sharing the video clips of it in Facebook!
And basically, what was being shown inside of those video clips...
Are what most of the girls would ever dreamed of!

I know... it's just plain typical Rich Prince Charming....
Doing his forever charming and sweet thingy....
But still, as a normal girl (who is a romance lover),
I always have my own romantic dream as well.
HAHAHAHA!

''My Secret Romance'' with a total of 13 episodes.
It was released in April 2017 and aired on OCN.
Starring Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun.

Since the storyline is not complicated and short episodes,
This is definitely on my "Must Watch" list,
Another reason why I started right away,
Is because of the HOT main male actor, HAHAHAHA!

I first watched Sung Hoon's acting,
Back in the "Oh My Venus" drama.
Where he was only the sub-character, being a professional boxer.
I already noticed him in the previous drama,
But he didn't really stand out, so I couldn't care much about him. LOL.

Now that he is the lead actor of this drama,
He is SERIOUSLY VERY VERY HOT.
That manly jaw line (it looked super hot whenever he has a kiss scene),
And his exceptionally sexy body figure (loved that scene where he pulls Yoo Mi into the swimming pool).
I once heard from Sarah that he was a member of the national swimming team,
But due to his spinal injury, he has to quit sport,
And eventually entered the acting world (I was grateful that he did),
So that we can have a glimpse of his handsome manly face on screen. HAHAHA.

In my opinion, the drama could actually ended at 11 episodes,
Because towards the ending of the drama,
It was super draggy with all the unnecessarily flash-backs.

Overall, I would still give a 4/5 stars rating,
For the romance issue and scenes,
And the uncomplicated storyline.

There were two OSTs that I personally love from the drama,
"Same" - Sung Hoon & Song Ji Eun
"Song For Love" - Lyn

Jin-wook and Yoo-mi meet at a Gangwon-do resort and get caught up in a series of misunderstandings and accidents. Yoo-mi was charmed by Jin-wook's sly and playful personality, and they unexpectedly spend the night together. However, Yoo-mi disappears in the morning, leaving Jin-wook feeling perplexed and irrationally angry.
Three years later, the two meet again when Yoo-mi becomes a nutritionist at the company cafeteria where Jin-wook works. They pretend to not recognize each other, while fighting their attraction for each other. Finally Yoo-mi admits that she remembers the incident. Jin-wook asks her the reason why she left him and she replies that it was just a one-night stand.

Drama # - 1% Of Something

This drama is seriously not on my "Watching List',
I just somehow happen to randomly came across of its drama review on a Youtube Channel.
And due to the short showing time for each episodes, which is only around 30-35 minutes,
Why not? That's like 8 episodes only,
I will be able to finish it in 1 day. HAHAHAHA

''1% of Something'' with a total of 16 episodes.
It was released in October 2016 and aired on Dramax.
Starring Ha Seok Jin and Jeon So Min.

Overall, I would give a 3/5 stars rating,
For the straight forward romance scenes,
And the very innocent romance storyline.

The thing about this drama is that the storyline only revolves around the two main characters,
It is always all only about them,
If you are not a fan of romance drama,
Then this might just bored you out a bit.

Ha Seok Jin was quite good looking,
So I kinda enjoyed watching his character inside the drama,
The part where he keep on daringly kiss the girl over and over again,
Like ahhhh, can I have that one peck as well? LOL.

Lee Jae-in (Ha Seok-jin), a ruthless son from a wealthy family starts seeing an elementary school teacher, Kim Da-hyun (Jeon So-min) whom he has never seen before, on a six-month contract engagement, so that he could inherit the asset as written on his grandfather’s will. 'One Percent of Anything' is a romance drama depicting what happens to the pair during the fake engagement.[4]

Drama # - The Legend Of The Blue Sea

I was very very excited about this drama when their official teaser was being released.
I am not a fan of Lee Min Ho but I love Jun Ji Hyun,
What makes me anticipated the most is that this drama is her first project after delivering her first baby,
She is one of the Role Model Goddess on my idol list.

''The Legend Of The Blue Sea'' with a total of 20 episodes.
It was released in November 2016 and aired on SBS.
Starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun.

The beginning of the drama was okay,
I enjoyed the first few episodes of the drama,
But to my disappointment,
It kinda go down slope, as I found the storyline was getting boring towards the second half of the drama.

There were too much flash backs on and off from the Joseon era and the current life.
And repeating similar scenes with similar characters,
In two different life, sounded kinda pale and weak.
Hence, it tends to get boring for me.
And towards the end, it took me a while to finish the whole drama.
Long after everyone was already over with the Lee Min Ho fever.

Don't get me wrong though,
Cus I am not saying this drama is not good.
The ratings for it is rather high in Korea,
And it was famous too.
I just don't like it for my own preference.

Therefore, I am giving it a 2/5 stars rating.
There is nothing I quite pick up from the OST collections,
I only love the Spain location where they filmed in the first few episodes of the drama,
And Jun Ji Hyun being the most stunning mermaid I have ever seen :)

= Drama Trailer =

= Drama Plot taken from Wikipedia =

The television series centers on the love story of Heo Joon-jae (Lee Min-ho), the son of a rich businessman who becomes a handsome and clever con-man after his parents' divorce, and a mermaid named Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-hyun).Focusing on rebirth, fate, and unrequited love, their tale is juxtaposed with the parallel story of their Joseon era incarnations, town head Kim Dam-ryeong and the mermaid Se-hwa.

Drama # - Goblin (Guardian - The Lonely And Great God)

This is definitely another one of those awesome and best drama for me after
''The Descendants Of The Sun''
Just hearing the name Gong Yoo as the main actor of this drama,
Already win my heart and 5 stars full rating from the beginning :)

''Goblin (Guardian - The Lonely And Great God)'' with a total of 16 episodes.
It was released in December 2016 and aired on TVN.
Starring Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun.

It's very rare to have Gong Yoo starring in a drama,
As he once said he preferred a movie project rather than a drama.
But everytime when he is in it, you can bet the drama is going to be hot and famous,
He is such a good actor, I am already in love with him since his ''The 1st Shop Of Coffee Prince'' drama back in the year of 2007.

The first few episodes of this drama has very long showing time,
Where it is 1 hour and 30 minutes per episode.
But after that, it resume back to the normal 60-80 minutes long of showing time per episode.

The first episode is rather a bit boring and scary at the same time,
But it is actually the important seed of how everything actually started.
So you wouldn't want to skip it.

The storyline is very good and awesome from the second episode.
Which I enjoy watching until the very last finale.
One thing about this drama, is that you can never expect nor predict the upcoming plots,
The twist and turn of the story is bizarre and rare it keep me entertain the whole time.

And I must give a double thumbs up for all the casts inside the drama,
It is mainly because of their 200% charismatic and professional acting skills that this drama is a huge success.
All the facial expressions and body language are super surreal and on point,
I actually devoted my whole mind and soul into the drama together with them. LOL OK WTH.
The chemistry between all the actors and actresses are amazing,
Not only the two main characters spark in awe,
But also the two supporting characters,
Plus, the brilliant bromance relationship is a wonderful extra.

Anyway, I am so in love with all the OSTs of this drama,
I directly cut the songs into my phone's main ringtone,
And even cut Gong Yoo's line as my BF message's ringtone.
Guess what, I have been using it for 8 months until this very day.
It was super soothing to listen to his electrifying voice everyday,
It gives me the strength to get my job done and motivated everyday.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
And it is always killing me to wait for the new episode release.
As they only release two episodes per week.

So I will be giving this drama a 10/5 stars rating,
And confirmed be in my Top 10 Favourite K-Drama list of all time :

1) Secret Garden - 2010
2) My Love From The Star - 2014
3) The Descendants Of The Sun - 2016
4) Goblin - 2017

Gosh, I am such a fantasy romance lover.
3 out of my favourite dramas are of fantasy genre.

Drama # - W - Two Worlds

Yup, you guess it right.
It is because of Lee Jong Suk I start watching this drama. LOL.
I first came to know him from Secret Garden back in 2010.
But he was just a supporting character inside,
And to be frank, he was a bit gayish inside so I don't like it much.
But then his hairstyle and face sort of reminds me of Oily, I dunno why.
Even his horoscope sign is the same with Oily, coincidence I say.
So, he is automatically listed in my favourite list of korean drama actors. HAHAHA.

''W - Two Worlds'' with a total of 16 episodes.
It was released in July 2016 and aired on MBC.
Starring Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo.

The drama plot is quite fresh and unique,
You wouldn't guess what will happen next at all.
Especially the clashing part of the comic and the human world,
Which keeps me quite entertain with all the suspenses.

It is the first time I am watching this type of drama,
I am giving a super thumbs up to the script writer who successfully
bring up quite a new approach in the industry.
However, I am not a thriller fan.
There're quite some scenes in the drama that involves killing and blood shedding.
Which creeps me out a bit.
And the part when the bad character finally being revealed at the end,
It was scary and creepy to watch it at night alone inside my room.
EEeeeeeeeeeeee.

Anyway, I will give it a 4/5 stars rating,
OSTs are just normal to me, but chemistry of the actors seemed to be good.

Drama # - Uncontrollably Fond

Never would I seriously thought that this drama would be that heartbroken and sad at the first look of the official poster.
I thought it would be all sweet and probably with a little family drama.
BUT IT'S NOT! IT'S SERIOUSLY SAD!!
I shed a lot of precious tears throughout the drama.

So, if you cannot bear to watch sad dramas,
Don't even start to watch this. HAHA.

''Uncontrollably Fond'' with a total of 20 episodes.
It was released in July 2016 and aired on KBS2.
Starring Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy.

All the sad happenings and dramas not only revolves around two of the main characters,
It apparently also revolves around the families of both the characters,
And the storyline was already sad since the beginning,
Where fate had to separate two love-birds from the very start.

It has been years since I last watched such kind of dramas,
I used to be a fan of melodrama,
But since I'm someone who is easily emotionally affected,
I tried to avoid too much sad stories.

But still, I shall say this drama is quite good,
Especially Kim Woo Bin's acting.
Although, you might find the storyline kinda dull and flat in the middle,
Overall, the morale of the story is still very meaningful,
Reminding us how fragile life really is,
Learn how to be grateful and appreciate everything,
Because there is no forever in your life.
Although you cannot change your fate,
But you can change your attitude and live life to the fullest.

So, I am giving it a 4/5 stars rating.
Plus, I am loving the OSTs of it too.

Drama # - The Innocent Man

Yes. I am one of the K-Drama fan who is currently drowned in the Song Joong Ki (SJK) fever.
And while I am waiting for the latest episode of Descendant Of The Sun (DOTS) to be released,
I need to soothe both my fever and my soul with another SJK drama. HAHAHA!

''The Innocent Man'' with a total of 20 episodes.
It was released in September 2012 and aired on KBS2.
Starring Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won and Park Si Yeon.

This is actually the second time I watch this drama.
Oily introduced this drama to me and I cannot believed he actually finished the whole drama in one go.
He is not a fan of melodrama and romance story,
He was only very much being attracted by SJK's drama character at that mean time.
I stopped at episode 8 when I attempted to watch it the first time.
Because the storyline is quite draggy and boring in front.

I still feel the same thing when I start watching it again now for the second time.
But I force myself to hold on until the end because my point is just to watch SJK's acting.
Not only it was draggy in front to me,
But then all the excess level of flashbacks and evil dramas start to kick in.
To be frank, this wasn't my type of drama at all.

In the end, I did finished watching the whole series though.
And to me, the best part only started from episode 15 until the end.
So, I am giving it a 2/5 stars rating.
I loved both Joong Ki and Chae Won in this drama, they made a great couple on screen.
