Foodie #7 : >Ham + Cheese Sandwich & Fries >Hot Jasmine Tea >Lucy's Kitchen Metrotown

After having yoga class tonight, it was an unexpected surprise that I was requested to stay back for performance practice by Aunty Shiela.
This will be my first performance with Baila =)

Feeling excited and nervous at the same time, my stomach is screaming for hunger.
So I decided to grab a bite at Lucy's Kitchen downstairs.
It is situated in between Open Kitchen and Bistro KK Metrotown.

I ordered myself a ham cheese sandwich and fries set which costs me RM 6.90.
The price is a bit pricy for a toast set in my opinion.
I know I wasn't supposed to eat fries because it's heaty and unhealthy I usually get sick easily after consuming it.
But I am actually a french fries lover. LOL.

Overall it was good and satisfying.
The presentation and appearance of the food is just nice.
Except the oversized white plate they are using. HAHAHA.
But I guessed that is Lucy's Kitchen signature =)
Because you can see all the big white plates are even used as a decoration on the wall of the restaurant.

I haven't had fries in such a long time I literally drool over my fries, and I actually finished everything in about 5-10 minutes? LOL
The bread was okay as well. I wouldn't say it is very good because it is just a normal toast with the ordinary ham and cheese inside.

I've ordered hot Jasmine Tea as well which costs me RM 2.90.
Tasted just nice with the right blend of the flower and tea scent and taste.

Light dinner was satisfying to my stomach and full.
Now, it's time to dance =)

Foodie #6: >Lemon Chicken Rice >Cawan Malaysia Delights Cafe Bundusan

It was another Monday Blue....
and I was in the blueeeeesssss....
I hate my dark circles alot...
Ignore my ugly photo wondered why I still wanna take it and post it here. Hahaha.

Anyway, one of my ex-colleague, Sherry, came back to the office today to clear and hand-over some old works to the new colleague.
Therefore, our superior took the chance to ask all of us for a get-to-gather lunch.
We picked this malay restaurant named Cawan Malaysia Delights Cafe because our superior is a muslim.

If you are wondering where is the location of Cawan, it is situated at the same row of Bundusan famous restaurant - Jin Shi Lou 金狮楼

The restaurant environment itself is quite comfortable and spacious.
It was separated into two portions where one is for the smokers corner and one for the non-smokers.
We somehow choose to be seated outside.

This is the first time I am here, but my first impression of the place is not good.
No offence but I am not a malay food lover, I would still eat them once in a blue moon anyway.
If you give me a broken menu, definitely I will black list you from my book forever.
Not only the menu were torned, the menu pages inside are in a rubbish condition.

Pfft. What the hell =.=

So I simply scan through and ordered myself a Chicken Chop with Lemon Sauce and a Kit Chai Shui.

This Chicken Chop with Lemon Sauce rice cost me RM 8.90.
The food appearance is like a plate of house dish.
But, the rice was hard like rock and dry like sand.
The vegetables definitely looked not fresh.
The chicken doesn't looked much like chicken chop but more like chicken slices =.=
And there were bones inside, I thought chicken chop are supposed to be served without bones?
The taste of it? I don't really like it =.=
The sauce doesn't taste like lemon at all, it's more like syrup sauce with lemon flavouring?
and it's sticky =.=

This Kit Chai Shui costs me RM 4.30 which is very expensive for a drink like this.
In ordinary kopitiam, I would only pay for this at RM 2.50 the most.
And the thing is they only give me half of the Kit Chai and two Ham Moi =.=
The taste is zzzzz just above the O.K level.

Today's lunch only manage to fill up my empty stomach, but I am certainly giving the food a thumb down.
If it wasn't for my superior, I would never choose this place.

Anyway, you are welcomed to taste the food yourself and share me your feedback =)
Maybe they are not specialised in this kind of food, and I wondered will their western menu and local malay menu would taste better?
Who knows it might be the opposite since we all have different tastebuds =)

Foodie #4 : Eat All You Can Pizza

I am so hungry at this hour and yet I cannot have any food intake!
I am supposed to be in bed sleeping already!

Before I jump to dream land, I need to share this amazing "One-Day-Only-Promotion" first.

Parked my car in front of A'roma Ristorante KK tonight and I happened to catch this.

EAT ALL YOU CAN PIZZA!!
Which also means Pizza Buffet!! *stomach growling*

With just RM 15 nett per person, I think it's worth to have a pizza buffet at such low price.
I've tried A'roma Ristorante's pizza before, and to me, their pizzas tasted quite good.
The chef himself is a pure sabahan who had history studying and working in Italy.
So you can pretty much imagine the level of taste in his food.

But of course, *NOT TO COMPARE ANYTHING OKAY* the level of A'roma Ristorante cannot be higher than that of Little Italy and Grazie, in terms of the taste of the food.
*Just Saying aight*
Anyway, for all the pizza lovers out there.
It's time to grab a bite.

Date : 30th Sept 2013, Monday
Time : 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Venue : A'roma Ristorante KK (if you are wondering where is this, it's located beside Southern bread shop at Damai old block)

I bet the place will be crowded.
Too bad I cannot be there as I have work and dance classes going on during that period of time.

Have fun eating and thank you for reading!
You are most welcomed to leave your comments and feedbacks here if you have been to the pizza buffet.
I would love to listen =)

Foodie #3 : >Tea Latte >Mocha >The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Restless & Emo on a plain Sunday.
I have been doing nothing for the whole day.
And my mind is not resting.

Thank goodness Howey ask me out at night.
If not I would have gone mad at home I guess.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Damai has been Howey's favourite place to relax.
So we decided to come here again after the last Triple K Sisters meetup last Sunday night. LOL

Believe it or not.
For so long this cafe has been in Damai, this is only the second time I am here.
Last week having meetup with the K Sisters was my first time stepping in here. LOL.
Due to Sunday night, I supposed most of the people are staying home resting cus the next day is the first working day in a week.

I kinda like the environment of the cafe because it is very comfortable for a relax chit chat.
They are playing very relaxing soothing songs, I somehow hope I can just sit and fall asleep at their sofas.
The staffs are very friendly and polite, I give them a 5-stars for their good service.

They even have this informational coffee guide leaflet.
Giving you basic information on how to differentiate different type of coffees,
and the ways they brew the coffee.

I've ordered myself a Vanilla Ceylon Tea Latte.
The Regular size will cost you RM 12.50 but the price is very much worth it.
Tried this once last week and it's a direct hit to addictive.
Plus, I cannot take anything with choc or coffee anyway.
Next time I will try other tea menu. haha.

The taste of this tea latte is a unique blend of vanilla and milk tea.
It's just simply heaven.
If you are a milk tea lover like me, you would certainly love it.
So when I had the first sip of it, I was like oaahhhhhh~

Arrived early at Coffee Bean so I manage to take a selca first. LOL.
But it is quite blur due to the dimmed light and low resolution front phone camera. LOL

Not long after that, Howey arrived and she ordered a Mocha IceBlended Large size for herself which cost RM 14.00.
There goes our night of girls' talk.
From work to life to blog to boys to shopping and travel.
2 hours passed like nothing.
I always enjoyed spending time with my lovely K sisters.

Before leaving, we take a picture of each other =)

*My Howey Babe*

Love the lighting of the cafe.
Makes us looked so pretty in the photo. hahahaha.
Til then, stay tune for the next Triple K post =)

Dance #2 : All-White 90 minutes Hip Hop Zumba Party

Aunty Shiela said to me : "You must come tomorrow if you are a Zumba Lover, we have a combination of Hip Hop and Zumba dance party here."
It was a last minute call for the event which will be happening on tomorrow.
Too bad I have no time to blog about it.

And here I am!
Date : 28/09/2013 (Saturday)
Time : 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Venue : Baila Fitness Studio
Dress Code : All White

Luckily my schedule is free.
So I make my way to the studio at 5.30 p.m.
I am wearing my pearl white cap + white baggy pants with black strips + white singlet + white sleeveless jacket with cute black prints + white shoes with purple laces.
Aunty Shiela said we are expecting about 60 pax today.
The studio is going to be very packed.

Baila Dance Party tops are being sold.

There is an entrance fee for the party event.
It cost RM 25.00 for Baila members, and RM 30.00 for non-members.

You are entitled to receive a Seri Mengasih Centre Raffle Ticket 2013 upon paying for entrance fee.
Which is a lucky draw ticket for a charity event, and the winners will only be revealed on
14th December 2013.

Jjang! Check out all the hot babes in white inside the studio *wink*
They are all the familiar faces which are Aunty Shiela's clients in Baila.

Ding Ding! this will be the dance hall for the Zumba Party later.
We are not using much of the white lights today, it's all about the green disco party light.
So that you would feel like you are in a party instead of the usual Zumba class =)

Take a noob selca before starting the 90 minutes long party. Hahaha!

Everyone getting ready on the dance floor.
It's starting soon!!

For first song, we have Zumba lead by Aunty Shiela herself.
Followed by her lovely daughter, Shanice Koh who is leading the hip hop dance.
Thereafter, by Chin Yee who is also a dance instructor of Baila Studio.

For today's Zumba party, some other Zumba instructors from outside are also joining the fun as well.
Such as Yoshie Ito, Yumiko Ueno, and even Michelle Koh is here to lead one song.
There are two more instructors but I forgot their names >.< LOL
Here is one of the short preview from the party that I managed to capture while I am inside =)

For a more complete video of the zumba environment during the party, you can check out Aunty Shiela's video below :

The party continues even after the 90 non-stop minutes!
I am gasping for air after 120 minutes non-stop of Zumba.
I have to stop and take a sip of water outside. LOL.
I am completely soak in sweats, my clothes and pants are all wet.
Calories burn, Stamina boost, Cardio workout.
It is a blast!
Exhausted but FUN!

Aunty Shiela come chasing out and ask why did I stop dancing. LOL.
"Just 2 hours and you are gasping for air already?"
I really salute with her hyper strong stamina!!!
She did come and poke me in the middle of the zumba session,
asking me to go up on stage and dance with her.
But I chicken out, HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I am too shy to join her, because I am still very new in Zumba.
Perhaps next time. LOL.

I am sitting outside the dance hall after drinking my water.
I cannot afford to continue after that, my stamina literally give up. HAHAHA.

It is a successful charity event.
Everyone had fun dancing and sweating at the same time.

Baila Fitness Zumba Group =)

I will update more on Baila's upcoming events in the future =)

Foodie #2 : >Hor Fun Soup >Beverly

HUNGRY ATTACK!!!
Did not expect to be working until 2 p.m. in a boring Saturday =.=
Especially when you do not have any food supply with you.

Was helping my colleague in rushing some urgent works.
And we decided to go grab a bite at the shops downstairs of our office.

Today, we decided to eat at a corner shop just behind the block of our office.
I did not remember to look at the name of the shop because I was starving at that moment!
Geeeeeez.
But it is very easy to recognize the shop as the whole shop was painted in purple.
I believe it's impossible to miss it =)
Another location tip is that the shop is at the opposite corner end of Kedai Kopi Ocean King Beverly =)

I've ordered a bowl of Hor Fun Soup for myself.
The portion is just nice for me.
It costs me RM 6.00.

The taste is quite good for me, because I like food that has healthy taste.
Which means food that is not oily, not salty and not too sweet.
Most importantly, I hate it when the soup taste like it's ajinomoto + salt water.
But this one taste nothing like that.
To add on the extra for it, it has so many vege inside.
I love it because I am a vege lover =)

The smell of it is nothing more than a bowl of soup noodles. LOL
Appearance also looks normal to me.
I was too hungry at that moment, I just want to fill my stomach full. Hahaha!
But overall, the food here is just nice.

If you are looking for a friendly environment to eat in Beverly.
You might wanna have a try here =)
The uncle owner is super duper friendly, he talked to me and my colleague like we are daughters of his.
Not forgetting to introduce his breakfast menu that are available in his shop =)
Just that, the place is like an old chinese kopitiam, because most of the customers I noticed are uncles who are sitting here for a cup of coffee.

Dance #1 : >Dance Classes >Baila Fitness

Dubz Dubz! I dunno why but it seems that I like to write during midnight.
Maybe I am a panda vampire afterall?

First time trying out classes in Baila Fitness.
It was freaking awesome and I love it a lot.

The studio is not that spacious but it's very comfortable.
Previously when I first came to know about Baila, it was in June'2012 when they were still in Iramanis.
That was when my K-Pop dance crew Da-FLOW, happened to practice at Aunty Shiela's place.

Aunty Shiela has been asking me to join her dance classes like forever since last year. LOL
Only now I have taken my action.
Delayed for a year! Opps >.<
But it's better than never right?

This year, Baila Fitness has moved to Metro Town in Kolombong.
The studio is located right above KK Fusion.
It is new, beautiful and comfortable, even the sound system is awesome,
I can feel the bass pumping my heart beat when I dance =)
Here is a peek of how the studio looks like.

First time coming and I am watching Step Aerobic class.
Looks fun and enjoying.
Hopefully one day later, I will be able to join it when my working hours are not that packed.

Sitting at the bench while watching the students doing aerobic.
Waiting for the Zumba class at the same time.
My first class and second time trying Zumba =)

Baila Studio offers two categories of  Zumba : Zumba Toning & Zumba Fitness
Zumba Toning is for people who do their workouts with toning sticks.
If you are wondering what is a toning stick, this is it.

It's like pair of dumbells for you to hold while zumba-ing.
I never had the chance to hold the exact sticks yet, but I heard the instructor said that it would cost you more than RM 100 for a pair @.@
Zumba toning targets more on the abs, thighs, arms and other muscles throughout the body, which also focus to the sculpting of body and cardio.

Zumba Fitness is a combination of dance plus aerobic.
The exercise routine include music with fast and slow rhythms, as well as resistance training.
Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, chachacha, reggaeton, flamenco and tango.
No props are used but make sure your body stamina is up to follow the fast pace dance and it will last for a non-stop hour.

Due to being there alone in the studio, I have no one to help me take any photos nor videos.
Couldn't give you guys a peek on the actual Zumba environment here.
But I can rest assure you, that it is a very heart pumping and sexy sweating hour for me.

I directly sign up for a life membership in Baila Fitness after the Zumba class.
With only a RM 50 of registration fee + RM 130 of monthly subscription fee.
Now I am entitled to unlimited dance classes everyday.
In another word, I can be here every single day and follow any single classes they have to offer.
Fingers crossed that my stamina is up for the challenge. Hahaha!

After Zumba Toning class, continues with Belly Dance class.
I was asked to try the Belly Dance but I have not prepare for this. LOL.
Told them that I would try it only next week. Cus I actually only came for the Zumba session. LOL.

One thing that I like about the studio is they have this cute square closets for you to place your belongings.
You don't have to worry about things scattering all over the places.
Or having your stuffs getting mixed up with other peoples'.

This studio is a shoes-free-area.
Meaning to say that you cannot directly wear your shoes from outside to inside.
Shoes used for dancing purposes are only allowed to be wear inside the studio.
So you have to wear slippers when you come for classes, and only change to your dancing shoes when you are inside =)
It is actually a good practice to keep the studio clean.

I have this pair of white dancing shoes that I like to wear alot.
I got it last year for Da-FLOW's first Kpop Dance Competition.
It was comfortable and simple stylish I totally love it.

Foodie #1 : Homemade Health Drink = Beetroot + Apple + Carrot Juice

Gulp! It's 12:00 a.m. and yes I am writing my first post.
Call me a panda please LOL.

Mum feed me with this weird looking bloody red drink and my eyes just went wide.
*Whispering* She wants me to become a vampire in secret.

For the appearance of a drink, don't you think Red is just so smexy?
Never realized since when did I started to love the colour RED so much.

The drink itself actually tasted so raw it felt like I drank grass and soil LOL.
Seriously not even adding the apple and carrot can cover the taste of beetroot.
Even the smell of the drink is pretty much like the taste itself LOL.

But due to the health benefits, this drink is highly recommended for all.
Researches show that beetroot is a good source in assisting to protect against liver, heart and cardiovascular disease, also lower down blood pressure.
Carrot itself is rich in vitamin A which is essential for the eyes.
Remember how people used to say "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" so there is no excuse in not taking an apple =)

Better start taking care of your daily diet now!
It's never too late to start anything when you have the heart to do it.
Happy reading and CHEERS!
