It was another Monday Blue....
and I was in the blueeeeesssss....
I hate my dark circles alot...
Ignore my ugly photo wondered why I still wanna take it and post it here. Hahaha.
Anyway, one of my ex-colleague, Sherry, came back to the office today to clear and hand-over some old works to the new colleague.
Therefore, our superior took the chance to ask all of us for a get-to-gather lunch.
We picked this malay restaurant named Cawan Malaysia Delights Cafe because our superior is a muslim.
If you are wondering where is the location of Cawan, it is situated at the same row of Bundusan famous restaurant - Jin Shi Lou 金狮楼

The restaurant environment itself is quite comfortable and spacious.
It was separated into two portions where one is for the smokers corner and one for the non-smokers.
We somehow choose to be seated outside.
This is the first time I am here, but my first impression of the place is not good.
No offence but I am not a malay food lover, I would still eat them once in a blue moon anyway.
If you give me a broken menu, definitely I will black list you from my book forever.
Not only the menu were torned, the menu pages inside are in a rubbish condition.
Pfft. What the hell =.=
So I simply scan through and ordered myself a Chicken Chop with Lemon Sauce and a Kit Chai Shui.
This Chicken Chop with Lemon Sauce rice cost me RM 8.90.
The food appearance is like a plate of house dish.
But, the rice was hard like rock and dry like sand.
The vegetables definitely looked not fresh.
The chicken doesn't looked much like chicken chop but more like chicken slices =.=
And there were bones inside, I thought chicken chop are supposed to be served without bones?
The taste of it? I don't really like it =.=
The sauce doesn't taste like lemon at all, it's more like syrup sauce with lemon flavouring?
and it's sticky =.=
This Kit Chai Shui costs me RM 4.30 which is very expensive for a drink like this.
In ordinary kopitiam, I would only pay for this at RM 2.50 the most.
And the thing is they only give me half of the Kit Chai and two Ham Moi =.=
The taste is zzzzz just above the O.K level.
Today's lunch only manage to fill up my empty stomach, but I am certainly giving the food a thumb down.
If it wasn't for my superior, I would never choose this place.
Anyway, you are welcomed to taste the food yourself and share me your feedback =)
Maybe they are not specialised in this kind of food, and I wondered will their western menu and local malay menu would taste better?
Who knows it might be the opposite since we all have different tastebuds =)
I went there before also with my mom, we both not really liking the food there~ >.<
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! I feel you! I never knew the place until my colleagues brought me there but then the first will be the last for me =(
